What Is the Most Watched Holiday Movie on Christmas?

The film “Home Alone” directed by Chris Columbus is the #1 watched Christmas movie in America. The film’s appealing storyline and Macaulay Culkin’s acting makes the movie “Home Alone” stand out more than other holiday movies. 

In an article published by Michele Majidi on Statista.com, it said  “Home Alone” ranked as the most viewed Christmas film in the United States, with 87 percent of respondents saying they had seen it.

A close second was “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” with 82 percent of respondents saying they had seen this movie as well. 

Most families watch their holiday movies on television, streaming services or on DVD and Blu-ray.
