On January 31, 2025 Lady Cat Basketball played Benton High School at 6 p.m. in the Wildcat Arena. As tip-off grew closer, the seats began to fill up and anticipation from the crowd filled the arena. In the first quarter of the game, the team had lots of energy and trailing behind by 10 points, the Lady Cats ended the quater with a 14-4 score. In the second quater, Zakireya McMurrian starts with gaining two points for the Lady Cats with a pass from Meci McDanel.

At the start of halftime, the score was 22-24– the Lady Cats were down at the half by two points. At the start of the 3rd quarter, Meci McDaniel gets the steal and Shugg Norman recovers the ball to make the outlet pass out to Destin Lewis for an easy lay-up. The game was tied with a 24-24 score. The Lady panthers slowly started to take the lead in the third quarter, but the Lady Cats were not going to give up just yet. The end of the third quarter the score was 29-34 with the Lady Cats trailing by 5 points.

The Fourth Quarter started with Christain Dade going in for the drive and receiving a foul. She goes to the freethrow line and she makes both of the freethrows to put the Lady Cats down by 3 points. The Lady Cats had momentum, but then they slowly started to lose it. The ending score of the game was 32-50 with the Lady Panthers taking the win.
